Report: Arsenal will accept £15m for Hector Bellerin; Inter Milan still circling

Arsenal are wanting just £15m for Hector Bellerin as they look to press ahead with seeing some of the current squad leave the club.

Bellerin has emerged as one of main players who can leave. The Spaniard is one of Arsenal’s longest-serving players, but Mikel Arteta is willing to let him leave.

Inter Milan are desperate to sign him. However, they are offering just a loan at the moment, with no guarantee to buy due to their sticky financial situation.

But The Sun has now claimed that Arsenal want just £15m for Bellerin. And while it’s termed as the club are ‘holding out’ for that figure, it would be a bargain buy for Inter in reality.

The Gunners are also willing to sanction the loan, as long as Inter are prepared to pay that fee at the end of it. Edu is looking to recoup money, and wants permanent deals sorted, not just loans.

Inter have, as yet, failed to make a bid which includes a permanent option in the deal. However, at just £15m, it now could tempt the Italian side.

Bargain

While money is tight in Serie A and with Inter specifically, you won’t find many better right-backs than Bellerin for the money. Arteta, despite his willingness to let Bellerin go, has previously lauded him as a ‘key figure’ in this Arsenal squad.

Given the club have just sold Achraf Hakimi for mega money, you’d expect they’d be able to commit to what is a relatively small fee. Further, it’s not like Bellerin will lose value.

He’s still just 26, and if he does well, then he could even be sold on for profit. Arsenal are giving away a bargain here, and Inter have to make the most of it.
