Arsenal are interested in signing Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi during the summer, according to Calciomercato. It is thought that the Italian club values their player in the region of £45 million.
Berardi has scored nine goals and registered five assists this season in Serie A, captaining the side on several occasions.
He typically operates on the right-wing, although he can play through the middle as a No.10.
The Gunners will be on the lookout for new recruits during the summer and attacking options will almost certainly be sought.

Boss Mikel Arteta will know he will be largely judged once he’s had a summer transfer window to shape his squad and he must get his summer business spot on.
The 25-year-old could leave if his valuation is met. In the past, however, he has stated that he’d like to play for Arsenal’s top-flight rivals, Liverpool.
He was linked with Milan in the summer and during an interview with Goal in May, he said: “If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club I will evaluate it with my club. Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool.”
Berardi is skilful, quick and at 25 he’d compliment a relatively young Arsenal squad nicely.
He has five caps for Italy and will hope to earn a place in Roberto Mancini’s squad for Euro 2020.
In total during his time playing for Sassuolo, he has scored 83 times and claimed 54 assists in 249 appearances.
Competition
Arteta isn’t blessed with loads of options out wide and Berardi would certainly bolster his ranks in that area.

Nicolas Pepe has looked a lot better lately and there is still hope that he can live up to his pre-signing billing.
Berardi would represent another capable signing, however, and could enhance Arsenal’s prospects of success next season.
