Report: Arsenal want Inter Milan youngster Martin Satriano
Arsenal are one of the Premier League heavyweights showing interest in Inter Milan starlet Martin Satriano, according to a report from The Sunday Mirror (21/2; page 73).
Satriano is yet to make his first-team debut at San Siro. But he is making a name for himself with their under-19s.
He has scored five goals in his last four appearances, with his two most recent strikes coming against AC Milan in midweek.
The 19-year-old has been on the senior bench on a few occasions since his £2 million arrival. And it now appears that he is attracting attention from the Premier League.
According to The Sunday Mirror (21/2; page 73), both Arsenal and Chelsea are admirers of the Uruguayan. The report notes that he is under contract with the Nerazzurri until 2024.
Arsenal have a crop of incredibly exciting young players coming through right now. The likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka were vital in inspiring Mikel Arteta’s side’s turnaround around the turn of the year.
They also have a handful of seriously talented young forwards. Folarin Balogun is catching the eye amongst the youth ranks. Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli looks to have an incredible future ahead.
With those players coming through, convincing Satriano to move to the Emirates may be an easier task.
Convincing Inter to let him go however, may not be so easy for the Gunners.
