Report: Arsenal want Dominic Calvert-Lewin; tracking him for over a year
Arsenal want Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and have been tracking the Everton star for more than a year, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Gunners fans will be excited to see which strikers Mikel Arteta brings in this summer. Eddie Nketiah has been in outstanding form of late. But reports have claimed that it is looking increasingly likely that Nketiah will leave this summer.
They have been linked with a raft of names. And the Daily Mail reports that they have their eye on Darwin Nunez, as well as Calvert-Lewin.

The report adds that Arsenal have been monitoring Calvert-Lewin for more than 12 months.
Of course, 12 months ago, Calvert-Lewin was coming towards the end of an amazing goalscoring season in the Premier League. The 25-year-old scored 16 times for Everton.
This season however, has been much more of a struggle all round at Goodison Park. Everton are still in the mix to be relegated from the Premier League. And Calvert-Lewin has missed much of the campaign due to injury.
In fact, he has only scored three goals in 13 games for the Toffees. So it will be interesting to see if Arsenal still pursue a move for the striker.
Arsenal want Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Some Arsenal fans may have major reservations about a move for Calvert-Lewin based on this season. But Gunners fans can perhaps take some hope from one transfer they made last summer.
Few could have imagined that Aaron Ramsdale would be knocking on the door to be England number one within a year of leaving Sheffield United. Certainly, many could not believe that Arsenal were ready to part with big money to sign the goalkeeper off the back of two relegations.
But that deal has proved to be a masterstroke.
Calvert-Lewin – who was on the Blades’ books alongside Ramsdale for a few years – is a ‘fantastic‘ player. And if Arsenal sign him this summer, you would imagine that Arteta sees him rediscovering his best form in the very near future.
