There are few clubs in Europe with as many exciting young players as Arsenal right now.

A report from Pianeta Milan, suggests that a pair of Serie A clubs are keen on one of Mikel Arteta’s talented cohort.

Arteta’s title-chasing Premier League side is built around several brilliant young players.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been ever-present in the league and cornerstones of Arsenal’s attack.

They’ve been joined by Eddie Nketiah, who has filled Gabriel Jesus’s boots extremely well so far.

At the back, the likes of William Saliba and Aaron Ramsdale look like they’ve been playing in the top flight for a long time.

It’s not just the young players currently at the club that are impressing either.

On loan in France, Folarin Balogun is having a brilliant time at Stade Reims.

His side are now twelve league games unbeaten, and Balogun is leading from the front with 10 goals in 16 appearances.

Pianeta Milan now believe Arsenal think Balogun is worth more than £35m.

However, they suggest that that number could continue increasing if his performance improve further in France.

The report suggests that Balogun could now be worth €40m [£35.3m], with AC Milan and Inter Milan keen on the England under-21 international.

It’s no surprise that clubs are looking at Balogun, given how well he’s performing away from his parent club.

At one point, Arsenal were considering recalling Balogun due to Jesus’s injury, although they always reluctant to do so.

He settled in quickly in France, after being encouraged by Alexandre Lacazette to leave the club in the summer.

The ‘incredible’ forward’s future is likely to remain at The Emirates when the season ends.

Arteta will want to assess Balogun himself to decide what next steps he should take in his career.

There’s a good chance he’s integrated into Arsenal’s first team, and it’s unlikely he’ll want to strengthen a Premier League rival by selling him.

It’s interesting that Arsenal now think Balogun is worth more than £35m, although the reality of selling him is a different matter.
