Report: Arsenal teenager Luke Plange on trial at QPR

Arsenal teenager Luke Plange has joined Queens Park Rangers on trial, with West London Sport reporting that he is expected to be released by the Gunners this summer.

Plange has actually done quite well in the Under-18 Premier League this season. The 18-year-old has scored four times in nine appearances this term.

However, he has not featured since a clash with Spurs last month. And it now appears that he is working to secure a move elsewhere.

According to West London Sport, he has joined the Championship side on trial. It is noted that he played for their under-18s on Saturday.

The report claims that he is likely to be released by Arsenal in the summer. And Rangers are now weighing up whether they want to sign him permanently.

TBR View: Tough task for a young striker trying to make grade at Arsenal

Arsenal have a group of young forwards who look destined for an incredibly bright careers – whether that be in North London or elsewhere.

Unfortunately, that may mean that some talented prospects have to get their careers up and running elsewhere. And it looks as though Plange is one whose future will lie elsewhere.

But it seemingly remains to be seen if QPR decide that they want to offer the attacker a fresh challenge.
