Arsenal winger Emile Smith-Rowe is reportedly a transfer target for several clubs but Arsenal will not be willing to sell the youngster on the cheap.
The Sun is reporting that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could be interested in sacrificing some of Arsenal’s younger players this summer to help fund improvement in the first-team squad.
It is then suggested that Smith-Rowe is ‘fancied by a few’ teams but that a ‘big offer’ would be needed for Arsenal to consider selling the 19-year-old.

For context, Arsenal are reportedly looking £20 million for Ainsley Maitland-Niles, so are clearly hopeful of a big fee for the teenager as well.
Smith-Rowe is highly-rated at Arsenal and spent time on loan at German side RB Leipzig last season. In January, with first-team football hard to come by at The Emirates, Arsenal loaned Smith-Rowe out to Championship side Huddersfield Town, where he has been a regular in their fight against relegation.
Often used as a winger, the teenager explained to The National this week that his preferred position is as a number 10 and that he would like to emulate Kevin De Bruyne in playing style for the Gunners.
“I like to be versatile and I can also play in other positions. But I probably would say I do enjoy playing in the No. 10 position the most.
“Since Kevin de Bruyne joined [Manchester] City, I like to base my game around him. I look up to him so much. I just like the way he plays and everything he does.”
He also explained that he had been in touch with Mikel Arteta throughout the lockdown period, so it is clear that the Spaniard does have him in his plans for the future.
Arsenal fans will no doubt be hoping that the Gunners are not tempted into a sale this summer as the teenager has all the raw ability to be a future star for the club.
