Arsenal are one of the clubs who have shown interest in signing Sergino Dest, but Spanish outlet Sport suggests that he is planning to stay at Barcelona.
Dest enjoyed a hugely encouraging first season with the Catalan giants following his £19 million move from Ajax.

He made 44 appearances in all competitions. And while Ronald Koeman’s men endured a disappointing year, Dest emerged as a shining light.
And it seems that several teams have registered an interest in signing the 20-year-old.
According to Sport, Arsenal have been joined by Juventus and Bayern Munich in all wanting the youngster.

However, the report notes that Dest is not willing to listen to any offers as he is reportedly focused on his future with Barca.
Dest would have been an ideal replacement for Bellerin at Arsenal
Mikel Arteta’s side certainly look set to sign a new right-back this summer. A recent report from ABC de Sevilla claimed that Hector Bellerin is looking to leave.
Bellerin has even been linked with a move to the Nou Camp in recent months.
So you could certainly understand why the Gunners may be tempted to ask the question about Dest.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, it seems that a move for Dest is out of the question for this window. And with that, perhaps one potential escape route for Bellerin has also been closed off.
Edu should keep tabs on Dest beyond this summer
As things stand, Dest is reportedly not interested in a move away. But Arsenal should perhaps hold out hope that that stance can soften further down the line.
At a club like Barca, it is not uncommon for situations to change drastically in little time.
If Koeman is unable to turn his fortunes around, a new manager may soon come in. And from there, Dest may not necessarily find himself as first-choice.
A lot of pieces will have to fall perfectly into place. But it will surely do Arsenal little harm to continue monitoring his situation.
