Arsenal have set their sights on Egypt international striker Omar Marmoush, according to BILD.
The Gunners are very likely to move for a new centre-forward in the summer.
At present, Mikel Arteta has just two senior strikers at his service – Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

Both are out of contract at the end of the season and there’s a good chance one or both will leave Arsenal.
Plenty of top strikers have been linked with the Gunners, including Alexander Isak and Jonathan David.
Although Marmoush’s profile isn’t at the same level just yet, he’s nonetheless a very talented prospect.
The 22-year-old joined Wolfsburg in 2017 from Egyptian outfir Wadi Degla.
He progressed up the ranks and became a first-team player at the club in 2020.
In January 2021, Marmoush spent half a season on loan at St Pauli, and this term, he’s on loan at Stuttgart.
He has also won 11 Egypt caps and played in the Africa Cup of Nations final as well as the World Cup playoffs.
“Lightning-fast and tricky”
BILD, via Sport Witness, claims the Gunners are one of the teams ‘closely monitoring’ Marmoush.
As well as Arsenal, Tottenham are apparently eyeing Marmoush too.
They have both ‘put the lightning-fast and tricky attacker on their shopping list’.
And Marmoush seems keen to secure a move to the Premier League.
He reportedly sees the English top flight as a ‘big career goal’, having ‘dreamed of England even as a boy’.
Marmoush has recently switched agents, linking up with ICM Stellar Sports.
They represent a number of Premier League players, including Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney.
In addition, Marmoush’s Wolfsburg contract only runs until 2023, so his club hasn’t got long to cash in on him.
“Assured on the ball”
In January last year, St. Pauli defender Daniel Buballa praised Marmoush following their draw against Holstein Kiel.
“Omar brought his quality to the pitch and helped the team today,” Kingfut quoted Buballa as saying.
“He was assured on the ball, dribbled with aggression and scored a magnificent goal.”
