Arsenal have included Emi Buendia on their list of potential targets heading into the January transfer window, with Football London reporting that Mikel Arteta is a fan of the Argentinian.
It looks set to be an important window for the Gunners. They are currently going through a poor patch of form, having won one of their last four in all competitions.

Creativity looks to be a real problem for Arteta to address. They have scored two goals in their last six games in the Premier League. And only one of those has come from open play.
So perhaps it may not come as a surprise to many that Arsenal are apparently interested in Buendia. According to Football London, he is one of the names on their radar heading into the winter.

The report does note that the Gunners have made no contact with Norwich regarding a potential move. But it is claimed that Arteta is a fan of the playmaker.
TBR View: Buendia looks a special player, but Norwich unlikely to let him go on cheap
Buendia is perhaps not the name that the Arsenal fans dreaming of a marquee signing coming in would have been hoping for. However, he looks to have the potential to be an outstanding player.
He has contributed 25 league assists since joining Norwich. That tally includes seven in the Premier League last season.
He may not be the most expensive name on Arsenal’s wishlist. But Arteta cannot expect him to come cheap either.
Norwich did a superb job of holding onto the majority of their key players in the summer. They have their sights set on an immediate return to the top flight.
So Arsenal will surely have to be prepared to part with a considerable sum if they do decide to pursue a move for Buendia in January.
