According to a report from The Sun, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has recovered from his injury and will be fit when Aston Villa come to the Emirates on Friday night.

The 20-year-old is one of Arsenal’s most important players. He has gone from strength to strength since making his debut, and without him, the Gunners often look lost on the pitch these days.

Saka, labelled as ‘unbelievable‘ by Luke Shaw, was having a decent game against Crystal Palace on Monday night, but his time on the pitch was reduced. James McArthur decided to boot the youngster’s calf with full power, much to the anger of Arsenal fans.

Saka rolled around in pain and had to be withdrawn at half-time. He has missed training this week as well, which made him a huge doubt for the game against Villa tomorrow. However, there’s good news.

The report claims that Saka has been cleared by the Arsenal medical team to feature against Aston Villa on Friday.

The Gunners reportedly feared that Saka would be sidelined for a few weeks following the terrible challenge. Some at Arsenal were under the impression that he would be out until after next month’s international break.

That would’ve been a massive blow for the Gunners, who need him fit and firing to have any chance of having a successful season.

Thankfully for Arsenal fans, his injury is not bad at all. The treatment given to his calf muscle by the medical staff has helped him return to full fitness ahead of the game at the Emirates tomorrow night.

The report also claims that Arteta is expected to use Saka from the start.

That is excellent news for the Gunners, who have to get back to winning ways tomorrow after two extremely underwhelming results against Brighton and Crystal Palace.
