Arsenal are very keen to sign Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven this summer and are prepared to really push the boat out to get the forward, according to a report from Dutch outlet ED.
Gakpo appears to have established himself as one of the most exciting forward prospects in Europe. He has scored 16 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions.

Recent reports claimed that Arsenal are amongst the clubs monitoring the 22-year-old, who predominantly plays on the left of the forward line.
Gakpo meanwhile, has an agreement in place with PSV that he can leave in the summer. Offers of around £35 million are apparently being prepared with various clubs across the continent in the running.

And ED is now reporting that Arsenal are extremely keen to sign Gakpo. In fact, they are prepared to go a long way to secure his signature.
Versatile Gakpo could be ideal signing for Arsenal
Arsenal need at least one new forward this summer. Both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract in the summer and could leave on a free.
A natural striker is most definitely required. And if they pursue another forward, there is scope for Arsenal to go after a more versatile attacker.
Gakpo certainly ticks the box for versatility. He can play in the middle or on the opposite flank. And clearly, his numbers are absolutely outstanding.
Obviously, it is going to be difficult for Gakpo to replicate those kind of numbers in the Premier League. But Arsenal are putting together an amazing squad. And he would definitely have the opportunity to thrive.
The Gunners are seemingly set to do everything they can to bring him to the Emirates.
