Willian’s absence from Arsenal’s squad against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend raised eye-brows.
Plenty of Gunners fans suggested that Willian’s omission may suggest that he is on the way out.
However, it seems that Willian being left out was a simple team selection decision from Mikel Arteta.

That may be a bad omen for the Brazilian, but he remains in Arsenal training and has been at London Colney all week.
Indeed, it seems that the winger will be sticking around at Arsenal for some time yet, despite potentially being up for sale.

The experienced forward is on a sizeable deal at the Emirates Stadium, and that may be why Arsenal are struggling to sell him so badly.
Willian failed to make any sort of impact at the North London club last term, despite being given plenty of chances.
