According to ESPN, Arsenal could be offered the chance to sign former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen for as little as £12m.
Eriksen has struggled at Inter Milan since moving to Italy from Tottenham in January and is now apparently open to moving away from Serie A after less than 12 months.

But despite reports to the contrary claiming the Gunners will move away from talk of a move for Eriksen, ESPN now claims that a £12m deal could be on the table to try and tempt Mikel Arteta into a deal.
Eriksen, 28, is one of Denmark’s most lauded talents and has over 100 caps for his country, contributing 36 goals along the way.
With Arsenal struggling in front of goal (just nine Premier League goals this season), Eriksen could well be someone who Mikel Arteta does turn to, despite having Mesut Ozil in the camp.

Eriksen is considered something of a Tottenham legend. He made over 300 appearances for Spurs, contributing to more than 150 goals during his time with the north Londoners.

Most Arsenal fans probably wouldn’t care about signing a former Spurs player, especially one with the quality of Eriksen.
Despite it not working out in Italy, he’s still an exceptional talent in terms of attacking midfielders in Europe and obviously knows the Premier League inside out.
If Arteta did sanction this move, it would surely mean the end of for Ozil as well. But at a time when the Gunners are struggling for goals, the signing of someone who can both score and create has to be attractive for the Arsenal boss.
