Arsenal have offered Alexandre Lacazette to AS Roma as they look to get rid of the striker.

What’s the story?

With less than a year left on his current deal, the Frenchman is one of the most likely departures in the remaining weeks of the window.

However, the 30-year-old also proves crucial in a deal to purchase Tammy Abraham. According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners need to sell him and Eddie Nketiah in order to acquire the Chelsea ace.

According to Calciomercato, the centre-forward has been offered to the Gialirossi. Arsenal are attempting to ‘make room’ for the acquisition of Abraham.

Mikel Arteta once claimed he is ‘what managers dream of’.

Lacazette a great makeweight

It seems Abraham is a key target for the Gunners in the remaining weeks of the window.

All the speculation points towards the north Londoners pushing for the 23-year-old. Il Messaggero has claimed the side agreed on personal terms with the ace.

Lacazette would be a great makeweight for Arsenal amid news he has been offered to Roma.

He would clear up space for Abraham and, more importantly, would finally depart the club.

When a £46.5m striker fails to hit 15 goals in the Premier League, you get the feeling he is not quite good enough.
