Report: Arsenal move for Ramsdale on verge of collapsing

Arsenal’s move for Sheffield United ace Aaron Ramsdale is on the verge of breaking down.

According to The Athletic, the two clubs are still apart in their valuation of the Englishman.

It’s contrary to reports from, who claimed earlier today the sides were in advanced talks over a move.

It was claimed the fee would be £30m, £24m up front with £6m in performance bonuses.

The 23-year-old had earlier in the transfer window emerged as the north Londoners’ number one target.

However, it seems as though a move is on the verge of breaking down completely.

It would leave Arsenal needing another goalkeeping target. The outfit have been linked with a move for West Brom’s Sam Johnstone.
