According to a report from French outlet France Bleu, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing 15-year-old defender Tom Cadoche.
Cadoche is currently coming through the ranks at French second tier side Le Havre AC. France Bleu reports that the teenager is expected to make a decision on his future at the end of the year.
The report notes that the defender is also wanted by Real Madrid. Los Blancos have reportedly already sent scouts to have a closer look on Cadoche. But they will have to see off plenty of competition for his signature.
France Bleu reports that the Gunners, Red Devils and Cityzens are also chasing Cadoche.
The stature of the clubs reportedly chasing Cadoche tells a story regarding his potential. At 6 ft, it is not surprising that he is standing out already.
While all the interested clubs can provide exciting opportunities, perhaps Arsenal stands out as a particularly attractive option.
The Gunners have a number of their former defenders working within the academy. Steve Bould and Ryan Garry are under-23 head coach and assistant respectively, while Per Mertesacker is the manager of the academy.
With those figures at the helm, Cadoche perhaps stands a very good chance of realising the potential that has attracted such high-profile admirers.
