Report: Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United lock horns in race for Borussia Dortmund winger Jacob Bruun Larsen

Jacob Bruun Larsen broke into the Borussia Dortmund first-team last season.

According to a report by The Sun, three Premier League teams are in the hunt to sign Jacob Bruun Larsen. Borussia Dortmund winger Larsen is on the radar of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Larsen enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Borussia Dortmund last season, playing 30 times for the German giants. The right-footed winger scored three goals and provided three assists.

This has caught the eye of several English clubs. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United want to woo the once-capped Denmark international (who starred for Denmark U21 at the recent U21 Euros) to the Premier League.

Dortmund will demand a major fee for Larsen but this report adds that he is rated at around £15m. Jadon Sancho is not the only exciting young winger Dortmund will face a battle to hold onto this summer.

Larsen might be about to swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League. If all three clubs come in with a bid, the 20-year-old has a big decision to make at a crucial stage of his career.

Where should Jacob Bruun Larsen play next season?

It is important that Larsen gets this decision right. If these Premier League teams match his asking price, Larsen will need to decide whether to move to England or stay at Dortmund.

The advantage of remaining at Dortmund would be guaranteed game time in a familiar environment. But English clubs offer the chance to play Premier League football and earn more money.

Arsenal would probably be the best choice if Larsen wants immediate first-team action. Manchester United might also offer him a place in the starting line-up but both clubs are in the Europa League.

Liverpool could give Larsen Champions League football. But with Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and others jostling for starts, he might get less first-team football next season.
