Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Real Madrid prodigy Bruno Iglesias.

According to Goal.com, the Gunners and Manchester City are monitoring the 18-year-old midfielder’s progress.

However, both Arsenal and Manchester City may struggle to get their hands on Iglesias.

According to Goal.com, the youngster has been tipped to make his first-team debut for Los Blancos.

In addition, Real chiefs and coaches rate Iglesias extremely highly and are ‘invested in the future’ of the player.

On Tuesday, Goal.com published their NxGn 2022 list, ranking the top 50 youngsters in world football.

And Iglesias made the list at number 50.

“Real Madrid’s is an academy packed full of brilliant young diamonds,” they wrote.

“But none shine brighter right now than midfielder Bruno Iglesias.

“The 18-year-old, who has been likened to Kaka within La Fabrica, has already reached double figures for both goals and assists with Madrid’s Under-19s this season.

“Iglesias is now being tipped to make his first-team debut at some point in 2022, though Manchester City and Arsenal are monitoring his progress in the hope that his pathway to the senior side is blocked.”

Can Arsenal get another Real Madrid midfielder to the Emirates?

Arsenal would be a great shout for Iglesias – they’ve worked wonders with Martin Odegaard and could do the same with a new up-and-coming Bernabeu midfielder.

Even if he was to go in the Under-23s at first, Hale End is a superb academy which has produced top talents in recent years.

Arsenal youngsters have a great pathway to the first team, as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have shown.

That said, if Real give Iglesias game time, then realistically he wouldn’t look to leave.

And obviously Manchester City would be incredibly tough competition for his signature.
