The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsenal have joined north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons, as The Gunners are concerned Hector Bellerin is struggling to return to his best.
Aarons, 19, has starred for Norwich under Daniel Farke and has shown this season that he is more than capable of impressing in the Premier League – despite his tender age. The England Under-21 ace has started all but two of Norwich’s 21 league games.
Tottenham have been linked with Aarons since he impressed in their Championship-winning campaign last season, while Arsenal have now joined Spurs in the race for the fleet-footed right-back. Everton and West Ham are also said to be keen.
The Gunners are now considering Aarons as Bellerin struggles to replicate the form that saw him earn Spain caps, due to his long-term knee injury. Norwich are believed to want just £30million for the up-and-coming right-back.

TBR’s view – Aarons is a bargain at £30million for any interested clubs
One of the best young defenders in the Premier League, Aarons is the perfect example of the modern-day full-back. He would be nailed on for a place in the England side in years to come, had it not been for a plethora of English talent at right-back.
Mikel Arteta has got his side going again with an aggressive, attacking approach and having full-backs that can contribute to that is crucial. Aarons would be perfect for his style of play, but Tottenham and West Ham need a right-back even more.
