Arsenal are supposedly interested in signing highly rated AS Nancy youth player Bilal Hassaini.
According to Foot Mercato, the Gunners are ready to move for the 18-year-old winger despite having not yet made his first-team debut.
Last year Arsenal raided FC Lorient for Matteo Guendouzi, who did well and got regular football in 2018/19, and it would appear the club are ready to make a similar kind of play this summer.
Hassaini, who is also apparently interesting Crystal Palace, would prefer a move to Paris Saint-Germain, meaning Unai Emery could have his work cut out over the talented youngster.
In January, Foot Mercato reported that the France U17 international had been watched several times by Borussia Dortmund, with Valencia, Barcelona and Manchester City also keen.
Hassaini appears to be highly coveted so Arsenal could have a job on trying to convince him to join.
With Alexis Claude-Maurice having declared he wants to join Borussia Monchengladbach (L’Equipe via The Mirror), it is easy to see why the Gunners are interested.
It seems Emery wants a younger forward to come in and perhaps rival Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the wide areas.
Hassaini has exciting potential but he would likely go straight into the youth setup at Arsenal, whereas Foot Mercato state Palace are willing to give him first-team opportunities.
