Arsenal are being linked with teenage forward Ali Akman, who is currently playing for Turkish second-tier club Bursaspor.
According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are keen on the highly-rated 18-year-old and are also joined by Premier League rivals Chelsea in showing an interest in him.
It is explained that the striker’s contract expires at the end of the season and he doesn’t plan on renewing it, which is why Bursaspor are willing to listen to offers this month for him.
The report explains that the Turkey Under-21 international will be available for around £3million, but he could be sold for even cheaper than the seven-figure price due to finances being hit by the pandemic.
Despite being diminutive in size, Akman is a rising star being touted for big things in Turkey and he’s now attracting interest from his performances.
He may only be competing in the Turkish second-tier, but he’s playing senior football and has nine goals in 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

TBR’s View:
Akman’s asking price of £3million looks extremely low, which is why it makes sense for a Premier League side to take a punt on him during the January transfer window.
Arsenal are in a situation though where they are already have two young strikers Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun, who have both come through the academy.
Mikel Arteta’s side could ideally do with some more reinforcements in the forward line at the Emirates Stadium, but it would be a big surprise if Akman was ready for Premier League football.
