Arsenal could potentially spend up £55million for Ben White this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners are reportedly continuing discussions with Brighton over the talented defender.
Previous reports claimed White could cost Arsenal £50million.
However, the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday that Arsenal are “continuing discussions with Brighton over a £55million deal” for the defender.

Brighton are reportedly maintaining their stance of wanting £50million in guaranteed payments.
Talks between both clubs are continuing over the structure of the deal, added the report.
In addition, the England international is apparently keen to make the move to the Emirates.
The Athletic suggested last week that Arsenal were proposing a package of roughly £45million plus another £5million in add-ons.
Arsenal reportedly eager to land one of England’s rising stars
In the space of two years, Ben White has gone from a talented prospect at a modest club to one of English football’s rising stars.
When he joined Leeds on loan in 2019, he had never played in the top two divisions of English football.

Despite his lack of top-level experience, White was sensational for Leeds.
He featured in every one of their Championship games and helped them win the title.
Unsurprisingly, Leeds wanted to buy him following their promotion to the Premier League.
However, they were ultimately unsuccessful as White penned a new deal at Brighton.
The player has since become a regular for the Seagulls, making 36 Premier League appearances last term.
