Arsenal are still thought to be keen on signing Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, despite growing ‘frustrated’ in their attempts to land the Ghana star.
According to Goal, the Gunners are being stalled by Atletico in their attempts to sign Partey. This, despite talks remaining ongoing between the clubs over a deal that will see Lucas Torreira move to the Spanish side.

It is claimed by the report that Arsenal are still looking to reach a deal for Partey. However, they will need to get Atletico to agree to a compromise, with Los Rojos Blancos still said to be demanding the full £46m release clause.
Partey has been linked with a move to The Emirates all summer now. Manager Mikel Arteta is said to be keen on bolstering his midfield ranks, with Partey and Lyon midfielder, Houssem Aouar, the two main names mentioned.

But it appears that the Gunners are still some way off securing a deal for the Ghanaian star. Arteta, though, will be hoping his board can push a deal through with the sweetener of Torreira a dangling carrot for Atletico.
Atletico will want full money for their man and you can’t blame them – TBR View
This is one that has rumbled on and on for some time and will no doubt reach a conclusion in the coming weeks.
Partey is a fine player and will, no doubt, bolster the Gunners’ midfield. However, Arsenal are going to have to pay the money if they really want to land their man, even though the market is slightly different.
If Arteta can land Partey – as well as Aouar – then Champions League football could well be a possibility this season afterall.
