Report: Arsenal eye move for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo
Arsenal are keen to sign Tosin Adarabioyo in the summer with the defender keen to leave Craven Cottage following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners are considering weighing up a move for the talented centre-back but could face competition from other Premier League clubs.
Mikel Arteta knows all about Adarabioyo from his time at Manchester City and he’d love to add him to his Emirates Stadium rearguard.
Adarabioyo is 23 and that makes him a player with plenty of potential. Arsenal will lose David Luiz in the summer and a younger defender would be an ideal addition.
The Fulham man signed for the Cottagers last summer for £2 million. He has played 32 times for the club during 2020/21 and enjoyed a decent campaign.
The English performer rose through the youth ranks at Manchester City and went onto make eight appearances for the senior ranks.
It wasn’t anticipated that he’d be a first-team regular at Fulham this season but he’s exceeded expectations.
The 6ft 5in defender will have Premier League clubs and Bundesliga clubs after him, according to the report.

Some fans will point to the fact that in William Saliba they have a player returning from his loan spell who is just as capable as the Fulham man.
If Arteta isn’t convinced by the Frenchman, however, Adarabioyo could be the ideal addition to the ranks.
He is a defender who the Arsenal boss knows all about from his time working at Manchester City and he boasts bags of potential.
Given Fulham’s relegation, he won’t cost a fortune and his £60,000-a-week wage would be more than affordable for the Gunners.
His arrival at the Emirates Stadium might be met with some uncertainty – but he could prove a quality addition to the Arsenal ranks.
