Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac’s proposed move to Bayer Leverkusen could now be in danger, with the Bundesliga club reportedly struggling to offload Wendell.
According to Kicker via their live blog, the German side had been hoping to get the Brazilian off their books today, with Hertha Berlin having supposedly been interested.

But it is now being claimed that Wendell is expected to stay put, which is something that could leave the Kolasinac deal ‘smashed’.
The development is potentially a big blow for the Gunners, who need funds to secure other targets, namely Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid.
Talk is rapidly generating about the Ghanaian coming into the club on deadline day, but time is of the essence for the Gunners and this could well affect Arsenal’s pursuit of Partey.
TBR’s View – Arsenal could do with Kolasinac sale
One would think that Arsenal really need to get £100,000-a-week player Kolasinac (Spotrac) sold to make their lives easier regarding the pursuit of Partey.

Gunners officials know they need to pay £45 million to Atleti to release him from his contract.
It has been claimed that Kolasinac could bring in as much as £10 million, which could be significant for Arsenal.
Hopefully for the Gunners, Leverkusen will manage to offload Wendel, or press ahead with a move for the Bosnian regardless.
