Rob Holding will reportedly seal his loan exit from Arsenal ‘this week’ to join Newcastle United.
talkSPORT are claiming that a deal is now very close to completion, and that everything should be tied up in the coming days.
Holding started in the Community Shield against Liverpool on Sunday and put in a good performance as part of a Gunners back three.

That is likely to be his last Gunners appearance for at least a while, with the Magpies primed to sign the Englishman for the 2020/21 season.
It would seem Arsenal are happy to allow Holding a temporary exit, with Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes expected to be announced soon.
£25,000-a-week star Holding (Spotrac) joined Arsenal in 2016, but has never really established himself as a regular under Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery, Freddie Ljungberg or Mikel Arteta.
TBR’s View – The right call
A temporary move away for Holding is the right decision.

It is difficult to see where regular minutes will come from with the arrivals of William Saliba and Gabriel.
There is a player in there, as was evident in the match against Liverpool at the weekend, but he needs consistency and a chance to play without injury.
Newcastle are a good outfit defensively under Steve Bruce, and it could be a decent move for him.
