Report: Arsenal could sell Sead Kolasinac for just £4.5 million

Arsenal have strengthened their defensive positions this summer with the arrivals of Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Pablo Mari, and Cedric Soares.

With that in mind, the Gunners are now looking to move some players out the exit door, including Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac.

The defender has been linked with a host of clubs in recent weeks, especially in Germany.

However, Roma appear keen on doing business with Arsenal yet again to unite Kolasinac with his Bosnia international team-mate Edin Dzeko at the Stadio Olimpico.

That is according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that Arsenal and Roma’s good relations could lead to a deal between the two clubs.

Roma are set to lose Aleksandar Kolarov this summer and want a replacement. Kolasinac appears a perfect option and Arsenal could, reportedly, be willing to sell for as little at €5-€6 million (£4.5m-£5.3m).

The Gunners recently cancelled Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract to allow him to join Roma for free this summer and that friendly relationship has the Giallorossi eyeing another potential bargain.

Whether Arsenal could get a better deal for the combative defender is up for debate. But it certainly seems as though the Gunners would be selling themselves a little bit short with this current deal.
