Arsenal could be willing to sell Granit Xhaka in January, with Mikel Arteta said to be unsure on if the midfielder fits in to his plans.
That is according to Eurosport, who claim that Xhaka is one of a number of players being considered for a move in January.

It is claimed ‘serious offers’ would be considered for the Swiss international, who has been a regular for the Gunners but will likely see game time limited once Thomas Partey gets into full flow.
Xhaka was signed by Arsenal back in 2016, then the Gunners paid a reported £35m fee to bring the combatitve star into the club.

Since then, his time in north London has been a mixed one. A number of good performances have been spoilt by inconsistencies, and he once famously fell out with supporters when substituted and was jeered off.
With Arteta still looking to reshape his squad, Xhaka could well be one who is sacrificed to make more improvements.

Nobody can deny this has been something that has been on the cards for a while now. Xhaka has done well under Arteta in the main but there’s always been a nagging doubt that he could be moved on.
It wouldn’t be the end of the world for Arsenal, in fairness. They have Partey in the club now, while they also have some talented youngsters coming through and remain keen on the likes of Houssem Aouar.
Xhaka, meanwhile, might well thrive in a new environment if a good bid does come in.
