Arsenal are considering reigniting their interest in David Raya with the Gunners open to offers for Bernd Leno, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

What’s the story?

Leno could be on the move from the Emirates after losing his number one spot to Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale has quickly gone on to threaten to secure cult-hero status at the Emirates.

And Leno is attracting attention. According to the Daily Mail, the German is wanted by Inter Milan.

It remains to be seen if they can make an offer that appeals to Arsenal. But it is interesting that the club appear to be looking at possible replacements.

According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners could consider Raya. Meanwhile, Neto and Andre Onana are also on the radar.

It is noted that luring the Brentford star away from the Bees would not be easy. He is enjoying regular game-time in the Premier League with Thomas Frank’s side.

Arsenal target Raya labelled ‘incredible’ by Jurgen Klopp this term

Brentford have been superb since sealing promotion. And Raya has clearly managed to impress in the top-flight.

Jurgen Klopp labelled some of his passing ‘incredible’ following Brentford’s superb 3-3 draw with Liverpool at the weekend.

Whether he would be the right player for Arsenal however, is questionable. Onana is out of contract next summer. Neto meanwhile, is a backup at the Nou Camp.

So surely they are more likely to be cheaper options. If Brentford stay up, they are not going to let Raya leave without a considerable fee coming their way.
