Arsenal look ready to offer £27 million for Amadou Diawara, while Corriere dello Sport has suggested that a swap deal involving Lucas Torreira moving to Roma is also an option for the Gunners.
Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Mikel Arteta is keen to sign Diawara this summer having tracked the Guinea international for some time.

And it appears that a resolution concerning Diawara’s future could soon be on the cards.
Corriere dello Sport has claimed that Arsenal have switched their attention to the 23-year-old after deciding against meeting Thomas Partey’s release clause.

And the report has suggested that the Gunners could offer £27 million for Diawara. It is noted that a potential swap deal with Torreira has not been ruled out, but Roma would prefer a cash-only move.
TBR View: Diawara move would be another step in right direction for Arsenal
Arteta’s men have been shrewd so far this summer. The move for Willian has the potential to be inspired. And it appears that their first big-money signing of the window may be just around the corner.
As noted by Sky Sports, Gabriel Magalhaes is on his way in a £27 million move.
And following that up by landing Diawara would arguably be another brilliant step in the right direction for the Gunners.
He is an excellent holding midfielder who protects the defence superbly and has a real eye for a pass.
And, based on the latest reports, he could be one of the next additions to what looks to be an ever-improving Arsenal spine.
