Report: Arsenal closely watching Joan Jordan; Arteta loves his game
Arsenal are continuing to closely watch Joan Jordan, with Spanish outlet Marca reporting that Mikel Arteta loves his game.
Jordan is one of several Sevilla players seemingly winning a lot of plaudits this season. The 26-year-old has provided six assists in La Liga – no player in Julen Lopetegui’s squad has provided more.

And it appears that his form is not going unnoticed elsewhere. The Sun reported ahead of the January window that Arsenal had made the midfielder a priority.
Of course, no move would take place, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, they have been linked once again as the summer looms.

According to Marca, Arsenal are closely monitoring the former Eibar man. It is noted that Arteta in particular, is a big fan of Jordan.
Marca suggests that his release clause stands at around £43.1 million (€50m). And it would perhaps be little surprise if Sevilla were unwilling to let him go for less.
It is shaping up to be a crucial summer for Arteta at the Emirates. There have been reasons for optimism, but their form has been incredibly mixed.
Arteta will be hoping to stamp more of his mark on the team over the coming months. And if Jordan is a player he is a big admirer of, perhaps he will make sure to implore the Gunners hierarchy to do all they can to land the Sevilla star.
