Report: Arsenal boosted as Ryan Fraser switches agents, now with Arteta’s team

Arsenal have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth winger, Ryan Fraser, with the Cherries star ditching his current agent for pastures new.

While this usually wouldn’t matter too much, according to the Daily Star, Fraser has moved to sit under Paul Martin, who, coincidentally, looks after Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta.

The move from Fraser could well provide massive insight into where the Scot sees his future. The Bournemouth winger is out of contract next month and is free to move.

However, the Daily Mail claims that Eddie Howe is trying to get Fraser to extend his deal in the short-term to help their fight against relegation.

That could well scupper Arsenal’s immediate chances. Although, it is still widely believed that Fraser will walk away from The Vitality Stadium regardless.

Arteta, then, may well get into the ears of his agent as he looks to pip Tottenham to the signing of Fraser.

While it’s not the be-all and end-all, this seems to be massive news for the Gunners when it comes to their hopes of landing Fraser.

Agents have a big say in what happens in the footballing world as we all know. Therefore, it’s not hard to draw the conclusion that Fraser will probably end up at Arsenal.

It gives Mikel Arteta the ‘in’ he might need to pip his rivals to a deal.

Sometimes in football things just fall right for a club. This, then, certainly seems to be one of those occasions!
