Arsenal are now thinking about loaning out talented forward Marquinhos when the January transfer window opens.
The Evening Standard report that the Gunners considered loaning out the Brazilian in the summer, when he had just arrived at the club.
But they decided to keep him around with the belief that he could get some first team football in the Europa League group stage.
He started and scored in the first European game of the season, in a 2-1 win over FC Zurich, as well as laying on an assist.

Arsenal consider sending Marquinhos out on loan
He also got two other appearances in the competition as Arsenal qualified for the knockout rounds as group winners.
He may well be loaned out somewhere else for regular gametime but he could stick around to offer cover during a hectic schedule after the World Cup.
Arsenal are looking at the likes of Facundo Torres at Orlando City and Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk, and if they get either of those wingers, they could let Marquinhos leave on loan.
In August, Gunners boss Arteta raved about the youngster’s physicality, as per Arsenal.com: “I’m very happy with him.
“He has adapted very well and he’s a really likeable figure in the dressing room and around Colney.
“His language is not great yet but I think his physicality has been pretty exceptional, for someone who has come from Brazil and has a different way to train and play, but he’s done it.
“I think he’s got the qualities for how we want to play.
“We will keep him here for another few months and make sure that he establishes himself at the club and in the team. Afterwards, we’ll see what the best movement is for his career.”
