Arsenal have become one of the latest Premier League clubs to join the race to sign Joachim Andersen, according to a report from the Daily Mirror.
Andersen has been a shining light for Fulham since arriving on loan last year. Unfortunately for Scott Parker’s side, they require a superb end to the campaign to stay in the top flight.

Should they fall into the Championship, their hopes of holding onto Andersen will be all but over. However, there are plenty of sides ready to offer him the chance to remain in the Premier League next year.
The Athletic reported earlier this week that Tottenham Hotspur are heavily interested. And the Daily Mirror has now reported that the Gunners and West Ham also want the Dane.

The Mirror suggests that Andersen is valued at around £20 million.
They also note that Arsenal are considering potential replacements for David Luiz. The Brazilian’s £101,000-a-week contract expires this summer and an extension is yet to be agreed.
TBR View: Andersen a leader Arsenal could do with if Luiz leaves
Should Luiz leave, Andersen – who became Lyon’s record signing when he joined in 2019 (via Daily Mail) – would arguably be a very good option.
His leadership appears to have had a hugely positive impact on Fulham. Of course, their situation does currently look bleak. But without big changes to their defence before the summer window closed, Parker’s men may well have found themselves much further adrift.
For around £20 million, the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham may struggle to get a better defender through the door this summer.
