Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United will be on red-alert today, as Monaco forward Wissam Ben Yedder has opened the door for a move to England.

The French international has rifled in 19 goals this season, with 18 of those strikes coming in Ligue 1.

A host of English clubs are thought to be keen on the former Sevilla man. Tottenham have been linked previously with a move for Ben Yedder by French outlet, L’Equipe.

And a recent report from the Sun claims that Manchester United and Arsenal will also be on red-alert after the 29-year-old informed Monaco he wanted to leave this summer.

According to France Football, the Frenchman has expressed a desire to play Champions League football next season.

With Monaco not achieving that, it looks like the French giants could be forced into selling. However, they only signed him last summer in a deal worth over £30m, so they’ll likely want to recoup that money.

It’s not often a player comes up on the market who can assume will be a guaranteed success, but Ben Yedder may be one.

He’s contributed to 25 goals in Ligue 1 this season. That allowed him to finish alongside Kylian Mbappe in the race for the Golden Boot, although the PSG man was given the award based on technicalities.

However, Mbappe called for the award to be shared, which goes to show just how impressive a season Ben Yedder has had.

All three mentioned clubs could do with firepower. It seems unlikely Man United will move, given his age. It could, then, be a two-way battle between the Gunners and Spurs.
