According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal and Tottenham target, Arkadiusz Milik, is set to reject fresh terms on offer at Napoli.
Milik, who has a contract until 2021 in Naples, is a wanted man this summer it seems. Both Arsenal and Spurs have been credited with an interest in the former Ajax man.

And although no move has been made yet, Milik’s apparent decision to reject a new contract in Italy could well open the door for Mikel Arteta or Jose Mourinho to make their move.
However, the report also claims that Juventus are keen on Milik. The player is also said to favour a stay in Italy, meaning Spurs and the Gunners may have their work cut out for them in landing the striker.
The Sun reported this week that Napoli may be willing to lower their original £45m asking price for Milik.

This, coupled with the fresh news of Milik’s decision not to sign new terms, may well be the chance the PL duo needed to make their move.

And once again, this is the problem facing clubs like Spurs and Arsenal. While both can pay hefty wages and transfer fees if necessary, how do they compete with Juventus?
The Italian champs are known for paying ludicrously high wages to players. It Milik has got a whiff of that sort of contract, it could be game over for the north London clubs.
They should stick at it though. Both clubs need a striker and Milik has the qualities to succeed. At 26, he’s also got his prime years ahead of him, too.
