Not to be outdone by Manchester City signing one Kayky, it seems Arsenal are now interested in one of their own, this time in the form of Santos defender, Kaiky.
That is according to Goal, who claim that both Arsenal and Ajax have asked to be kept informed of Kaiky’s progress by Santos. The report states how the Brazilian giants hold a 70% ownership stake in the teenager.

Kaiky, who is still only 17, is already playing in the first-team for Santos. He is said to have a release-clause in his contract of around £61m, although Santos believe he is already worth in excess of £10m.
However, any deal Arsenal might want to do will need to wait until next year at least. Kaiky needs to be 18 to move from Brazil to Europe, per the report, so the Gunners may need to stay patient.
Kaiky is a defender by trade, and is already forging quite the reputation in a country predominantly dominated by attacking flair players.
TBR View: Arsenal casting their net wide it seems, Kaiky another on the list of Edu
It seems like Edu is certainly looking to make the most of his links back home and Kaiky is another name among many Arsenal are said to be monitoring.
Brexit rules mean clubs are actively looking outside of Europe at the moment. Kaiky, it seems, is another top talent who the top clubs have already got on their huge radars.
It’s unlikely Santos will get that full £61m release clause. But at least they’re protected, meaning Arsenal will have to find funds somewhere down the line.
