Arsenal and 15 Spanish clubs have made an offer for Real Madrid youngster Miguel Gutierrez, according to ABC.
Arsenal need a backup left-back this summer after last season’s debacle. The club allowed Sead Kolasinac to leave without a replacement being signed. It left the team short on the left side of defence, with Granit Xhaka having to fill in during the Europa League.
Gutierrez has a €40m (£34.3m) release clause which the north London outfit have allegedly ‘studied’. The player is holding out on signing a new contract because he wants to see if he makes the first team.

TBR View: Gutierrez can become the new Bellerin for Arsenal amid link with a move
Think back to all those years ago, when a fresh-faced Hector Bellerin walked through the doors at the Emirates Stadium.
The Spaniard would go on to become a stalwart in Arsenal’s defence for years. Three FA Cups and Community Shields later, it seems the 26-year-old is close to leaving.
His career has faded into the abyss. However, Gutierrez can become the new Bellerin amid reports of a possible move.
The player is an incredibly attacking full-back, similar to Bellerin in his early years. He scored six times and registered two assists across 37 appearances last season.
His performances even earned him a call-up to the Real first-team, where he played six times in La Liga.
With one Spaniard departing, a younger one could be arriving. Gutierrez could well be Arsenal’s new Bellerin if the ace’s development continues in similar fashion.
