Arsenal are one of a number of clubs who could sign Eduardo Camavinga this summer, according to a report this morning from Marca.

The Frenchman is widely regarded as one of the best young prospects on the continent and has a whole host of top clubs sniffing around him.

Indeed, just this week, it was claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the young midfielder, with the Reds said to be mulling over a move which would see Camavinga replace Gini Wijnaldum.

However, Marca now suggest that Arsenal are one of the clubs also keen, along with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Currently with Rennes, it is widely expected that Camavinga will get a move to a bigger club this summer.

Further, his agent Jonathan Barnett has already tipped him to be a ‘superstar’, something Marca makes reference to in its report.

Arsenal themselves could be keen on bringing a new midfielder in. With Martin Odegaard’s future still uncertain and a partner for Thomas Partey sought after, Camavinga would be ideal.

TBR View: Arsenal landing Camavinga unlikely, but he is a supreme talent

Arsenal are bound to want Camavinga. He is a top talent who is already proving himself anyway, so it’s only natural the top clubs will want him.

However, with so much interest, it makes the Gunners’ task of landing him a tough one. The likes of Madrid and Barcelona will chuck big money at him, while Liverpool also have more financial muscle if they choose to draw on it.

So, while this would be great for Arsenal, it’s hard to see it happening right now.
