Leeds United defender Tom Pearce is wanted in Greece. According to Greek media outlet SDNA, Aris Thessaloniki are hoping to land Pearce on a season-long loan this summer.
Aris finished in the Europa League qualifying positions so they are hoping to bolster their squad for next season. Pearce has been identified as a potential target to improve their left-back position.
The 21-year-old has dropped down the pecking order at Leeds so he could become available. Marcelo Bielsa is yet to make a long-term decision on Pearce but Aris are hoping to sign him on loan.
Pearce broke into the team at the end of the 2017/18 season, playing five games and scoring against Barnsley. The highly-rated youngster was then linked with a Premier League move.

But the Whites fended off interest to get him to sign a new deal. However, the arrival of Barry Douglas put Pearce on the bench for the start of the season.
Should Leeds loan Pearce out again?
The England U20 international played just two games in the Championship last season before heading on loan to Scunthorpe United in January. During his time with the Iron, Pearce played nine times and scored once but could not prevent his side being relegated.
With a contract until 2022, Leeds might struggle to offload Pearce. But a fruitful loan spell with Aris – where he would gain European experience – could see him return to Leeds looking like a new player.
