According to the Mirror (Live Blog, 09:31), Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is still likely to end up at Tottenham or PSG at the end of deadline day.
The German international is set to leave the Blues after falling out of favour with Frank Lampard, with a number of European clubs said to be keen on signing the former Roma man.

Spurs have been eyeing a move for the 27-year-old for a number of weeks now, while AC Milan have emerged as contenders for his signature in the last day, according to Sky.
However, the Mirror’s latest blog claims that a move to Spurs or PSG remains more likely than a switch to Milan. Jose Mourinho is keen on signing a new central defender, with Milan Skriniar among the targets he is linked with.

But Rudiger could well be a backstop for the Spurs boss. Furthemore, the 32-cap star already has PL experience, meaning he could simply slot straight into proceedings under Mourinho if needs be.

That’s the impression you get when it comes to a deal for Rudiger. A number of clubs are interested in the German and it’s easy to see why given his experience and quality.
Rudiger falling out of favour at Chelsea is a strange one to be honest. But what could be the Blues’ loss, may well turn out to be Spurs’ gain.
It remains to be seen though what will happen. PSG are still a massive name and Rudiger might well fancy a move away from the Premier League altogether.
