Tottenham players are once again getting used to a new manager in the form of Antonio Conte, and according to The Telegraph, the Italian has already left his mark on proceedings.
Antonio Conte is known for being a serial winner. He has had success with Juventus, Chelsea, and Inter Milan, and will no doubt be demanding similar levels of success from this Spurs squad. However, he also knows the size of the task on his hands.
Tottenham are well off the pace at the moment. Under Nuno Santo, players had gone stale and the attacking fluidity Spurs once had, has gone.

But Conte, keen to make an impression, has already started to leave his mark on proceedings. According to The Telegraph, Conte was an hour late for his first extended press conference. This was due to a team meeting running well over, as Conte ensured he got his point across.
Indeed, the report claims that Tottenham’s players will have to get used to such things. It’s suggested longer training sessions, and more in-depth team meetings will be the order of the day under Conte.
Spurs’ players, then, will need to adapt quickly and buy into the Italian’s methods if they want success.
TBR’s View: Antonio Conte shaking things up at Tottenham and it’s needed
This Spurs squad have cruised along for far too long now. So it’s about time a manager came in and really ruffled some feathers.
The big question is whether these Spurs players can adapt. It’s well known they sulked under Mourinho and Santo, while some even got fed up of the Pochettino era. The focus, surely, has to be on the Spurs players here.
Antonio Conte will do all he can in training to help Tottenham. But it’s vital the players buy into his ways. Otherwise, the club will be back to square one in no time.
