Tottenham want to keep Bryan Gil beyond the end of the transfer window amid rumours of a loan move to La Liga.
Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo report that Valencia, Sevilla and Real Mallorca are among the clubs who want to bring the playmaker back to Spain.
The report says that Gil wanted to make a temporary move before the month too, but Antonio Conte has started him in Spurs’ last two games.
They claim that Conte is trying to do all he can to keep Gil now, and has done a U-turn over the midfielder’s immediate future.

Tottenham want to keep Gil now
£22 million man Gil has not had much chance to show what he can do but Conte has finally placed his trust in him in recent days.
He is lightweight and that is the main question mark over his suitability for the physical demands of English football on a long-term basis.
But he works exceptionally hard, doing his work for the team and he does have quality when he gets on the ball, drifting between the lines.
Spurs got their season back on track somewhat last night, with a convincing second half performance as Harry Kane turned the tide of the game.
Next up is an FA Cup clash with Portsmouth, and Gil will hope to get another chance to show what he can do from the start of that game.
Then come Arsenal in the north London derby and Manchester City, and if Conte trusts Bryan in those matches, it will be a real show of faith which would underline his new-found status within the squad.
