Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier is available for selection against Brighton, according to The Athletic.

There were concerns over the Spurs star’s fitness in wake of the Champions League draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

A video posted on Twitter from the account Kim showed Dier leaving the team bus very gingerly.

He could be seen clearly limping as he seemingly made his way back to the hotel.

Dier appeared to have picked up an early knock during the stalemate with Frankfurt.

He did, however, manage to carry on and see out the entire game.

And despite the concerning video, The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke dispelled any fears around Dier’s fitness.

He wrote that Dier ‘will be fit for selection as he bids to continue his record of playing every minute of club football so far this season.’

Good news for Tottenham fans, with their side desperate to get back to winning ways after disappointmenrs in their last two games.

Dier has been one of the most consistent performers in the squad since Antonio Conte’s arrival.

It would’ve been a major blow for Spurs to lose the “amazing” 28-year-old for any significant period of time.

That said, Conte does have a number of absences to contend with ahead of the trip to the Amex Stadium.

Emerson Royal is beginning a three-match suspension following his red card against the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Lucas Moura “will be out for a while”, as Conte said ahead of the Frankfurt clash.

And The Athletic also reported that Dejan Kulusevski will once again be absent due to his hamstring issue.
