Arsenal have been linked with Wolves ace Pedro Neto in recent weeks.

Last week, the Daily Express reported that the Gunners have a ‘long-standing interest’ in the 22-year-old.

They also claimed that Neto could potentially become available once Goncalo Guedes joins Wolves.

Transfer insider Dean Jones recently claimed that a sale is not out of the question.

And Arsenal are admirers should they pursue a deal, he also said.

“If they decide to stay in the Premier League, then Neto is definitely one of the ones who’s started to be talked about a bit more,” he told The Football Terrace.

“And it’s starting to sound like he might actually leave in this window

“All the noise around Wolves has always been Traore or Moutinho or Neves.

“And now it’s Conor Coady too – he’s on his way – but Pedro Neto, one to watch out for at the moment.

“And I do think Arsenal have half an eye on him.”

Now, 90Min have provided an update on Neto’s situation.

They have reported that intermediaries have been making it known to a number of clubs Neto could very well be available at the right price.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have apparently made aware that Neto could be available and that has peaked some interest.

The Gunners and their rivals are all in the market for right-sided forwards, added the report.

Neto would be an exciting signing for Arsenal if they can agree a deal with Wolves.

He looks to have such a lot of potential and already knows the Premier League very well.

Neto has been labelled ‘sensational‘ in the past. And he appears to have a very high ceiling.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry praised the Portuguese talent in March last year.

“I like him a lot,” Henry said on Sky Sports, via the Birmingham Mail, during the Wolves v Liverpool match coverage.

“Especially the situation that he found himself in with (Raul) Jimenez being injured and Diogo Jota now playing for the other side tonight.

“It’s not easy to have everything on your shoulders. What I like is he’s not scared to beat people on the outside. I like it, he can cross with his right, finish with his left.

“He’s always looking to have a go and attack the defender – always on the front foot.

“It’s not easy to do this at such a young age, in a team where you’re not often in possession and dominating games. I think he’s performed extremely well.”

If Neto is available, Arsenal cannot miss out. He is too good a player to watch go elsewhere.
