The agent of Tammy Abraham is trying to stall the striker’s decision on whether to join Roma to give Arsenal time to potentially offload Alexandre Lacazette, according to a report from Grand Hotel Calciomercato.
Abraham’s future looks set to be one of the key talking points in the final weeks of the window. Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell for £40 million.

And based on recent reports, the battle for his signature has come down to two clubs.
Roma have an agreement in place with Chelsea. However, Abraham is yet to give a move to Italy the green light.
It was noted by Sky that the 23-year-old would like to join Arsenal. However, there is a problem for the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s men are well-stocked for options up front. So someone may have to leave before Arsenal can catch Roma up.
Interestingly, his agents are looking to give Edu as much time as possible to create an opening.
According to Grand Hotel Calciomercato, Abraham’s representatives are trying to stall the striker’s decision on whether to join Roma. They are looking to give Arsenal time to potentially sell Lacazette.
Arsenal will surely struggle to sell Lacazette in time if Abraham is tempted by Roma move
Arsenal are not asking for a huge sum for Lacazette. The Sun recently suggested that their asking price is just £15 million with his contract up next year.
However, his wages are a problem. He earns £175,000-a-week in North London. So finding a buyer may not be easy.
It also perhaps highlights why selling someone like Eddie Nketiah would not have the same impact.
So that will certainly be a blow for their hopes of signing Abraham – particularly if he is seriously considering the move to Roma.
There is surely only so long his agents can delay his decision.
