Adam Lallana will play no part in Liverpool’s final game of the season against Newcastle United this afternoon, as he looks to secure his free transfer move to Brighton and Hove Albion.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who suggest he will sign a three-year deal at the Amex.
The England international has not played for Liverpool since the March win over Bournemouth and that will now remain his final appearance for the Reds.
Lallana has, according to the report, cleared out his belongings from the Melwood training centre in Liverpool and already said his goodbyes to his Premier League winning team-mates.

Lallana has reportedly been talked into a move to Brighton by their director of football Dan Ashworth, who is known to the Liverpool man from his time in the England set-up.
It means a move back to the south coast for Lallana, whose only other previous clubs have been Southampton and Bournemouth.
Liverpool fans will no doubt be disappointed that Lallana is not getting a final send off but with his injury record risking a potentially deal ending problem was the sensible course of action from the Reds.
Lallana will no doubt be wishing his soon to be former team-mates all the best in this Premier League dead-rubber.
