Report: AC Milan want Chelsea's Tammy Abraham, West Ham remain keen
According to the Evening Standard, AC Milan hold a genuine interest in signing Chelsea striker, and West Ham target, Tammy Abraham.
It is claimed that Chelsea are seeking £40m for Abraham this summer if they do sell. The Hammers are thought to be near the front of the chasing pack but now, Milan have also entered the fray.
Milan’s potential move on Chelsea won’t be the first time the Italian giants have looked to seize the moment with the Blues. They signed Fikayo Tomori in the summer, and could make his deal permanent this year.
Abraham has struggled to get going under Thomas Tuchel, although he did briefly get on the pitch as the Blues saw off Fulham yesterday at Stamford Bridge.
The England man is seeking regular game time, meaning a summer move is looking increasingly likely for the former Villa and Bristol loanee.
TBR View: Milan will tempt Abraham, but West Ham still a good move for him
AC Milan are a giant of Europe still and the fact Tomori has done so well there will offer further intrigue to the Chelsea striker.
But surely West Ham is the place for Abraham. He’d get the games needed around an exciting and up and coming team, with a manager who knows this league like the back of his hand.
Chelsea’s asking price is probably a fair one and while it seems high, the Hammers know what they’re getting with Abraham.
