AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for West Ham United defender Fabian Balbuena.
Calciomercato report the Rossoneri have two names on their shortlist; one being the Hammers’ Paraguay international and the other being his compatriot Omar Alderete of FC Basel.

Both players are represented by the same agent – Augusto Paraja – who held talks with the Italian giants on Monday.
Milan are thought to be keener on a swoop for 22-year-old Alderete, who is also apparently also being chased by Juventus.
But Balbuena is under consideration, despite having not had the best of starts to the 2019/20 season.
TBR’s view – West Ham should entertain the interest
West Ham ought to listen to any offers from Milan for £40,000-a-week Balbuena (Spotrac).
He did have some good outings last term, but realistically if West Ham want to challenge for Europe they need better quality at the back.

This term, Balbuena has looked somewhat shaky and does lack a turn of pace.
The club only paid £6.5 million (Sky Sports), so there could actually be a chance for the Hammers to make a profit on him.
Perhaps £10 million would be a sensible demand, so long as that money is then put towards the purchase of another, more mobile centre-half.
